Email marketing is a great way to keep in touch with your clients. When people register with your site their email is added to a list that you can then send bulk emails to. If you want you can import and export your list and you can also create different lists to send different emails to.

When you login to your backend you can see 'acymail' email component. There are lots of options in here from viewing and managing the subscribers to your emails to sending your emails.

First lets have a look at the users list. Here you can see all your subscribers and there are also options in here to import new emails or to export them to excel or similar program.

Now lets have a look at the newsletter section. Each email you send is called a newsletter. Here you can see all the emails/newsletters you have sent and also create new emails, delete existing ones or copy.
Click 'new' to create a new newsletter

Add a subject - this will appear in the subject tab of your email and then add some text. If you are feeling brave you can go in to the tags section and add an existing page to your email. This is useful if you want to get people to click on the newsletter to come back to the site. This drives traffic and if you have spent 5 minutes in our company talking about your website you will know how important this is.

When you have finished your newsletter click 'preview/send' - it won't send it just yet - and in here you can send yourself a test email to make sure it is all looking good.

Now enter your email and send yourself a test. Once this is done you can send the email for real by clicking send. If you have hundreds/thousands of email addresses to send to you will notice that it staggers the emails with gaps whilst sending them.
